My Approach
My name is Victoria, and I'm so glad you're here!
I am a certified counsellor, experienced in working with adults of all ages and genders, from many different walks of life.
With values of compassion, humanity, humility and honesty, I am passionate about helping individuals find their way out of dark times and into brighter days.
I believe in a holistic approach to counselling, one that considers the whole person with their unique set of experiences and needs. My focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients; fostering trust, honesty, empathy, and empowerment.
Together, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals and develop a personalised plan to help you achieve them.
Often, therapy spaces feel very clinical.
To me, many of our burdens are simply symptoms of real life and to feel is to be alive.
That is why I remain my authentic self throughout the counselling process.

origin story

My expertise in counselling extends beyond my
diploma qualification.
With first hand experience living with ADHD,
complex trauma (C-PTSD), domestic violence and profound grief
including the loss of a parent in childhood - and
having navigated and recovered from many
facets of these challenges, my own journey brings
experiences that have deeply shaped my understanding of
attachment, emotional pain and resilience. This gives me
invaluable insight into the complexities that underpin
mental health and emotional distress.
Through my ongoing devotion to both professional and
self development, I've cultivated an extensive
toolkit of evidence-based techniques and a refined
perspective that I want to share with as many people as I can.
I am driven by the fulfilment I find in supporting and empowering
others to create a life of their own design.
My broad view of mental health and human behaviour makes it simple for me to psychoanalyse, recognise patterns and link action with outcome - so that we may pave the path toward meaningful change.
These are fundamental qualities, shaped by my own adversity, personal growth
and education - traits that once made me feel isolated, having always viewed the world from such detailed depths. But it was when I started viewing these perceived weaknesses as strengths that my path to becoming a counsellor became clear.
